Hutto is a home rule city operating under the council-manager form of government with a governing body comprised of a Mayor and six Council Members. The City of Hutto seeks an experienced municipal leader who is highly motivated, energetic, and skilled strategic thinker to serve as its next City Manager.

The selected candidate must hold a master’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited institution and a minimum of 10 years of municipal administration experience, including five years in a managerial or supervisory role, are required. Preference will be given to applicants who have served as City Manager or Assistant City Manager in a comparable sized or larger community with similar complexities to Hutto. Must reside within City limits or its extraterritorial jurisdiction within six months following appointment.
