The Department of Technology and Innovation provides information management and technology services for Johnson County, maintains technological infrastructures, and identifies, analyzes, supervises, and coordinates e-government initiatives and programs. Johnson County is seeking a visionary and passionate Chief Information Officer (CIO) to provide strategic leadership and innovation for the organization’s information technology policies, programming, and infrastructure.

The selected candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, or a closely related field of study and must have 15 or more years of applicable work experience. A master’s degree in computer science, business administration, public administration, or closely related field of study and experience working in the public sector are preferred qualifications. The salary range for this position is $126,568 – $189,853, depending on experience and qualifications.
