The City is seeking an experienced, dedicated, and customer service-focused Assistant Director of Parks and Recreation. Under the direction of the Director of Parks and Recreation, the Assistant Director of Parks and Recreation provides direction and management of Parks and Recreation personnel. This position develops, recommends, and implements revenue enhancements, operational policy, and grant opportunities in coordination with staff and leads contracts and budget preparation and marketing efforts. The Recreation Superintendent and the Senior Center Manager report directly to the Assistant Director.

The selected candidate must hold a bachelor's degree in parks and recreation administration, business administration, public administration, or a related field and have at least five years of progressively responsible municipal or local government experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge and skills will be considered.
